Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
After high school, Dr. Patel visited a dental school with his grandfather's friend, and he was amazed by how dentistry could have a positive impact on people’s lives, improving their health, appearance, and comfort all at the same time. It felt like the right fit, and that feeling hasn’t gone away after all these years!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Patel started his dental education by earning his first degree from one of the most prestigious universities in India, and he went on to graduate from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California.
With more than 15 years of experience in the dental field, he’s helped thousands of patients achieve their dental goals and served as a mentor for hundreds of dental students. He has placed over 1,000 dental implants to restore single and multiple teeth, completed advanced education courses through Hiossen Implant and Neodent Implant, and earned his certification in providing diode laser dentistry. He is also an active member of both the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Patel is a proud husband and father of two children, Aarna and Ahaan. You’ll often find him cheering on his daughter while she’s playing basketball, enjoying one of her paintings, attending his son’s soccer games, or learning about the book he just read. Much of his time outside of dentistry is spent attending his kids’ various afterschool activities, vacationing with family, or relaxing with everyone with a movie night.
